TV Time alternative

Import your TV Time history into Trackoria

TV Time shut down on July 15, 2026. Trackoria is a mobile app to track your shows, your movies and all your other works in a single list. If you kept your TV Time export, the ZIP file that holds your history, Trackoria imports it. Your shows and movies join your list, and your watched episodes keep the date you watched them.

Available on Android, coming soon on iPhone

No export at hand? What the import doesn't bring over

Example

Import my data

Import TV Time to Trackoria in three steps

Example
  1. 1

    Find your export

The export is the ZIP file that holds your TV Time history, and Trackoria reads both of its versions. The GDPR export came by email after a request to TV Time. The JSON export was downloaded from the TV Time app before it closed. Copy this file to your phone as it is, without unzipping it.

  2. 2

    Drop it into the app

Install Trackoria on your phone and create your account. In the app, open the Profile tab, then Settings, then Privacy & data, then Import my data. Choose TV Time and select your ZIP file. The very first time you open the app, its welcome tour also offers to import your history and leads to the same screen.

  3. 3

    Adjust, then start

The app first reads your export and shows a preview, without adding anything to your list. Your works are grouped there as in TV Time, for example “Watching” or “For later”. For each group, choose the status it will take in Trackoria, meaning where you are with it, such as “In progress” or “Planned”. Then tap “Start the import”. A notification tells you when everything is ready, if you have allowed Trackoria notifications.

Trackoria only adds a show or a movie when it recognizes it with certainty in its catalog. An uncertain title is not lost. It waits in “To match”, a screen of the app, with its progress and dates. Confirm the suggestion offered or search for the right work, and its history is added as it is.

What comes with you

What the TV Time import brings over

Example

Your shows and their status

Every show finds its place in your list, with a status you can adjust before you start the import.

Example

Your watched episodes, on their dates

Your watched episodes keep the date you watched them.

Example

Your rewatches

A show watched again from start to finish keeps its rewatch count.

Example

Your movies

Watched with their date, or filed in your movies to watch.

Example

Your anime in the right place

Trackoria sorts your works by universe, meaning by type of work (movies, series, anime, manga, games and books). The anime TV Time counted among your shows land in the Anime universe, apart from your shows.

What the import doesn't bring over

  • Your ratings. The import leaves them out, and every show and episode can be rated again.

  • Your favorites. Pick them again from your profile.

  • Your hours. Trackoria shows in your stats the time spent on your works. Your imported shows and movies count there, on their real dates, but add no hours to that time. It only counts what you mark as watched as you go in the app.

Your shows are only the start. Trackoria also follows anime, manga, games and books, in the same list.

Find your export

No export at hand?

  • First look in your email for a message from TV Time with a download link, then in your downloads for a ZIP file that came from TV Time.

  • Since the shutdown, TV Time's export tool is no longer online, so it can no longer produce a new export. Only a file you already received by email or already downloaded can still be imported.

Only open messages received before the shutdown, and never share your sign-in details.

Get it on Google Play
Without an export, your TV Time history cannot be imported. You can still add the shows you are watching by hand, without TV Time's dates. On a show's page, “Mark all watched” checks off a whole season in one gesture.Example
